Mole End

Mole End – one of our three barn conversions, is a delightful, cosy cottage that can accommodate eight people in four bedrooms - two en suite doubles upstairs, and two bunk bed rooms downstairs sharing a family bathroom. A magnificent oak beam spans the sitting room and staircase. This used to be a barn with a ‘tallot’ opening to get the straw in and out.

Downstairs, the living room focuses around an open fire but is cleverly designed to give you two different zones – ideal for a play space for the children, or a quieter area if not everyone wants to watch TV. Mole End boasts our favourite kitchen, well-equipped and with lots of space to dine together in comfort around a large dining table.

Beautiful Grounds

Libbear Barton is straight out of Wind in the Willows. There are 40 acres to explore, including walks and adventures in the Wild Wood, a lake, stream and plenty of birds and wildlife – swallows, bluebells, a tractor making hay – and you may even see a badger. Between times, there’s a great choice of onsite facilities, including a heated indoor swimming pool, sauna, gym, games room and a great playground for the little ones.

Mole End has a lovely enclosed, private garden with gas barbecue - ideal for dining al fresco or evening drinks. And there’s a trampoline for the children.

Access

Access to Mole End from the car park is on a gravel path. The property is accessed on the same level as the path (i.e. no steps).
The ground floor is all on the same level and has a slate tile floor with some non slip rugs.
The first floor is accessed from a wooden staircase and has wooden flooring with some non slip rugs.
